Reformer Pilates is a type of Pilates workout performed on a specialised machine called a Reformer. The machine uses springs, straps, and a sliding carriage to provide adjustable resistance, helping strengthen and tone muscles, improve flexibility, and enhance core stability. It’s a low-impact, full-body workout suitable for all fitness levels, including beginners, pregnancy and those recovering from injury.

For most people, 2–3 times per week is ideal to see strength, flexibility, and posture improvements. Beginners may start with 1–2 sessions per week to learn proper technique, while more experienced practitioners can increase frequency. Consistency is key, and combining Reformer Pilates with other forms of exercise can enhance overall fitness.

Wear fitted, comfortable workout clothes that allow full range of motion, like leggings or shorts and a snug top. Avoid loose clothing that can get caught in the Reformer. Grip socks are MANDATORY for safety and stability on the machine.
